The one & only Mr. Leviness
Saturday Nov 28, 2020
Saturday Nov 28, 2020
I had the great honor to interview Mr. Leviness back in the summer of 2015 and thought I would post it again to mark the passing of this wonderful, intelligent, adventurous, empathic man. Everyone's favorite 5th grade teacher. He influenced more people than any other person I've know personally, yet seemed to steadfastly refuse to believe he had any influence at all. RIP Mr. Leviness. YSLY!

Very big thanks to my houseguest/episode #47 guest Beata Nazem Kelley who is the “Persian Girl Desperately Addicted to Food” behinds Beats Eats, a food blog where she makes delicious cooking easy and accessible for busy people. Now featuring videos!
She decided to travel to Colorado for The Audra Show in-person experience (admittedly, not the best ever) which gave us the chance to go on a mini-food tour of downtown Denver and describe it to you in detail, including this delicious item.
We also discussed:
- Bloody Marys
- Things to do with your extra mint, beets, chicken (which just inspired me to add some leftover green onions to my egg salad!)
- The staples of Persian cooking
- Recipes for tadeeg rice, curry chicken salad and easy homemade meals, taco tuesday and Persian pistachios!
- Reflections on life in America as a Muslim
- Nothing about politics!
